Onbuhimo

An asian style carrier which does not have a waistband. It is typically worn on the back.

"Onbuhimos are waistless carriers and come in a variety of styles utilizing fabric loops, buckles, and rings in modern usage.  Onbuhimo means 'back carrying strap' in Japanese. 'Onbu' is a verb and should not be separated from the word 'himo' when referring to the carrier. 'Onbu' refers to the act of carrying on the back, while 'himo' means strap or rope."
